A man's airplane crashes into a structure and he's left hanging in his seat high above the ground.

During an air fight several planes and ships are blown up and several buildings are bombed, causing lots of rubble to fall onto people below. People start choking and saying they're being poisoned when smoke comes through vents in their room, then they're given what look like swimmers' nose plugs to help them breathe in one scene, a man's plug is removed and he nearly suffocates.

A man runs through several plate glass windows (he doesn't appear to be cut at all). We hear a loud cracking noise after a man jumps to the ground and presumably breaks his ankle. It's implied a man wearing a ring of explosives around his neck is blown up (we don't see it happen, but we see the horrified expressions of others near him). A man is dropped over the side of a cliff, and falls for awhile (we don't see him hit the ground, though). A man shoots off another's hand (no blood is visible, but we see the wrist stump) and a man's arm is blown off (we only see his torn jacket sleeve). Still, DANNYonPC's work is impressive, especially given their ability to match the scene where an ATV flies off a roof and crashesВ into a nearby chopper.VIOLENCE/GORE 6 - Lots of people are shot with lasers (sometimes they're only stunned, other times they appear to be killed we don't see any blood but sometimes hear squishy noises upon impact). For example, 2042's tornado can't be replicated in Battlefield 4, nor can the brief futuristic drone segment. With the Battlefield 2042 trailer as a baseline, the content creator managed to pretty faithfully recreate the chaos, though some scenes simply weren't possible. Revealed during Xbox's and Bethesda's joint E3 2021 press conference, the Battlefield 2042 gameplayВ ran about three minutes in length, offering viewers a good look at what the new title has in store. But this has hardlyВ taken away from the brillianceВ of the upcoming shooter's first-look gameplay.

However, the most significant announcement, which remains a point of contention in online discourse, was that Battlefield 2042 will launch as a multiplayer-only game. Fans received fresh news, too, of course, including an October 2021 release date. The gameplay and ensuing details from developers confirmed plenty of previously leaked bits of information, such as the incredible scope of the multiplayer battles that DICE has implemented into the experience. Gameplay footage premiered during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase a few days later. After several months of rumors, leaks, and speculation, Electronic Arts and DICE finally unveiled Battlefield 2042 last week on June 9.
